Ok im catholic and me and my boyfriend that ive been dating for 1 year, had sex. Im too afraid to admit it because its such a sin and i dont know what to do!

You are not a terrible person. I'm also Catholic and I've been having sex since I was 18 ( I'm now almost 23 ). Most of it has been casual. I have felt no shame or like I've damned myself to hell. Also, if I'm going to hell for having fun in college, I think hell's population would be quite high. 😉

I feel like the fact that you are reflecting onto your religion and think you did something wrong and are a bad person actually makes you a good person. Because bad people dont have guilt.

You are most definitely not a bad person for having sex with your boyfriend. Being attracted to him sexually and wanting to explore that is completely normal. As long as you were happy and comfortable with it thats all that matters :)

I grew up in a very Christian family and went to Christian school and went to church every Sunday I know being catholic is a little different but you get the point. And honestly, you're not going to go to hell for having sex before marriage, yes it's considered a sin but it's human nature to have sexual feelings and sometimes it's hard to say no in that situation and you're not a bad person for it there's wayyy worse things you could do than have sex before marriage. You're gonna be okay.
