Before I knew I was pregnant I started having terrible pain at the base of my thumb. The pain is much worse at night. I did some research and it sounds like it may be De Quervain's or carpel tunnel. Since I don't have an appt until halfway through August I've been trying to manage it on my own by wearing a thumb brace, especially at night. Has anyone else experienced this? Did it resolve after birth?
