When to tell?

I just found out I was pregnant (SUPER EXCITED). But I'm 4 weeks and 4 days. I would like to know when did you tell your close family and friends, I'm afraid to say anything in the fear that I could lose it and have to deal with the sympathy looks etc. I don't want to disappoint anyone.

Going to wait a while for this one, I had a mmc a few months ago and I told close family early because my husband was going out of town and i needed the support.

After I had my mc I told some other close family so they wouldn't ask about me when were going getting pregnant!

This time unless I feel I need some support I want to surprise everyone after its confirmed hopefully I won't be showing too soon!!

I think the hush hush around mc is horrible, we need support, at least from close family and friends!

That is your call Hun. I can tell you from experience that my first pregnancy my mother in law wanted it kept a secret so no one knew expect our parents and I ended up losing the baby, I went through that completely alone and it was extremely hard. I am now pregnant again and told EVERYONE the moment we found out and it has been nothing but support. I hope you have a healthy nine months!

My S/O &I told our parents &sisters around 8weeks and told friends at 13weeks wen the first trimester was over. It's going to be hard to not spill the beans but it will all be worth it love

My husband and I told everyone the day of the positive test. I'm now 20 weeks along! One reason was because I didn't want to live in fear during this happy time in our lives! Also, if anything did go wrong, I would definitely want the support of our friends and family in dealing with it. Good luck and God bless, congratulations!!

I had a miscarriage last year in November at 9 weeks, so this time around we told only a few people at 9 weeks, but told the whole family at 12 weeks!

I personally told my close family and manager at 8 weeks. I told the rest of the world until 20 weeks. Its just when I deemed it felt right for me. I think it really depends on when you're comfortable with telling people.
