What does LO wear to bed

My 5 month old wears a merlin sleepsuit to bed and I am going to start transitioning him out of it soon because it's getting snug. I was wondering what you dress your little one in at night and for naps. I don't know if footed pajamas would be good or if I should get a sleep sack. We keep our house around 72 degrees.
