Maternity Leave

Apparently i only get 6 weeks of unpaid maternity leave... anyone else think thats a little extreme? I dont even get to be home with my baby girl for 2 month before i have to go back to work... that means i cant even take any time off before she comes or else i wont have a job after she is here.. i thought i at least would get 12 weeks, but thats only if i have a c section..
