Cradle cap help! :(

My daughter has cradle cap on her eyebrows and yesterday I put some olive oil on it. It seemed to make it look less dry and better. I was reading comments about taking a wash cloth and rubbing the scaly skin off, so I did that today and now my daughter's forhead is so red and it looks way worse :( I just put some breast milk on it and I'm hoping it gets better. I feel so nervous like i made it worse. Im a FTM. Any suggestions or advice? Thank you.
