Is sex very important in a relationship?

In my past sex was nessacary to keep the guys I was with, that's really wron of purse but it's what I'm used too. So now in quite sexual and my current partner thinks that it would affect our whole relationship if we were to stop having sex for a while. Anyway just wanted some outside thoughts and such (:

It really depends on the couple and the relationship. I know couples who don't have sex, they spend their time doing other things. They just don't like sex in general so it's not a problem for them. It depends on the couple.

Sometimes. Its very hard not to have sex. I had to go and talk to people because my sex craving was soo high and I became addicted to that. It didn't make me feel good because I wanted it more than I wanted to feel love. So I decided I didn't want to get into a relationship and have sex till I'm married. So many guys said that's fine. But once a few months passed, it didn't work. I met someone one day and I completely fell in love. At the beginning it was so hard because we wanted too just rape each other. He had a bigger sex drive than any guy ive met. But what it did was bring us closer. I think having sex is important, but if you can't bond on a level that makes you still feel as good as you would having sex, I don't think that's the love of your life or someone that is all about you. He showed that he didn't want me for just sex (even though it would have been amazing to have sex). We have been with each other naked, showered, and even sleep naked. Im not sexually unappealing, nor is he. We just learned one of the hardest self controlling things we had and got through it. Every guy I dated struggled but the one that really wants you will fight through it and it will in fact bring you both closer. Im now going to get married soon and I'm so nervous and excited because we've been waiting for a long time !  So, if a MAN can wait, that shows me he has the self control that im looking for and we bonded out of love, not lust. It also increased our trust for each other. I've never trusted someone so much in a relationship. Our relationship isn't perfect, be we love like no other.  Thats what i wanted. Some people are different tho. This is just a little but of my story ! 😘😊😊

Sometimes it is. I know if my fiancé and I don't have sex, we kind of get mad at each other. Plus sex is a healthy part of a relationship
