I was born with scoliosis (curvature in one or more parts of the spine) and in 2010 I had 2 rods & 12 screws inserted to correct to curves. My question is about an epidural.. My rods are all the up my spine starting from right above my butt bone. For anyone who has had this same surgery.. Can anesthesiologists still do an epidural or will I have to go all natural? I'd rather opt for a c-section under general anesthesia.. Call me weak all you want but I KNOW I won't be able to push a baby out with no help! No negative comments please. We're all mothers & can make our own decisions for us and our child..
