Implant Help!

I have had the implant for over 2 months and have had a period most of this time. I know this can be a side effect so am happy to put up with it but I go on holiday in a couple weeks and was wondering does anyone know if you can take a pill to stop your period for a week while you have the implant in? Trying to book a doctors appointment but want to know if I can even do this
