Baby sleeps too much??

Question

My baby boy is 11 days old , born via csection, he sleeps maybe 21 or 22 hours a day..he eats mostly formula , 2oz every 2 or 3 hours more or less, he doesnt really cry unless hes hungry, alot of pee diapers a day, only about 2 poopy diapers..is it normal to sleep so much?? I have to wake him up sometimes to make sure hes okay 😕

It's normal, as long as your baby is gaining weight the sleep is good. My pediatrician said sleep is as important as eating.

You can definitely expect 2-3 hour naps everyone they close their eyes :), even I googled that is quite natural because their bodies are growing extremely fast although we can't see it.

My cousin's baby was the same way.  Now 18 months won't sit for 2 seconds.
