I'm such a first timer! Cramps?

Okay so I've been having these cramps. They double me over when they happen, about 3 or 4 times a day I suppose, for the past couple days. They're in my lower stomach like clear across under my belly button. Is this something to worry about?? Braxton hicks? Constipation? (Maybe TMI: I'm on a stool softener lol..) any insight would be appreciated! My mom thinks I should call the Dr in the morning, I'm not so sure. I don't wanna push the panic button for nothing

I'm a FTM I'm 34 weeks and I went to the ER last Friday for cramping, nausea, and vomiting. My ob told me to go in because I've had a few issues with this pregnancy.. but it turns out I was having contractions  and not BH like I thought and I was also very dehydrated... after 3 bags of fluids I felt just fine and when they checked me out my cervix was still high and closed they told me it's normal to have contractions at 34 weeks it's my body preparing for labor... but if my water breaks or I start bleeding to go in... the Dr also said being dehydrated also makes BH and contractions that aren't dilating your uterus happen more often.

I had a couple and asked my dr about them today. BH are suppressed to be more pressure instead of pain, the dr said random contractions are normal around this time of pregnancy, just your body getting ready for the big event.

You should always see a doctor for severe cramping. A lot of the time it's nothing, sometimes it can be very serious. Are you still getting lots of movement? I has severe cramping a few weeks ago and I was rushed to the hospital because they thought I was going into pre-term labor. I didn't, and felt more then a little silly, but it's always better to be safe rather then sorry. Good luck!
