Any one else?

Question

So I found out I was pregnant a few weeks ago and I decided to only share it with my family and few close friends. Everyone is super excited for my husband and I, but my one friend doesn't seem to be. Lately she's been acting as if she is having pregnancy symptoms and even went as far as to say she thought she has misscarried  a baby, which by the way she never had a confirmed pregnancy. Now she's known for a few weeks that I am pregnant and not once has she asked me how I'm feeling, if anything she has been very cold towards me about the whole thing. I'm not asking what I should do, as much as I am wondering if anyone else has gone through the same experience and if it got better?

Some people just can't seem to look past their own struggles. I had a few friends who knew about our struggle to conceive (and our miscarriage this past year), yet when they found out we were pregnant their excitement was at a low. I try to not take things personally as I know we all have our own secret struggles that no one is aware of. Whether it is the desire to be pregnant (and jealous of your situation), or they are focused on something else in life.. At the end of the day it has nothing to do with you.

I remember when we were trying to conceive, a couple friends shared that they were expecting and although I was openly happy for them, I went home and cried. Not because I'm not happy for them but because of my own struggles and it triggered that reminder. 
So now, I just let people react how they want and I have more patience and understanding for those who aren't over the moon about the news. In time they will come around

Someone who I used to consider my best friend(we are now sort of just acquaintances because of her life style choices not because of this situation) decided that after I told her I was pregnant she was going to be pregnant.. So she had symptoms, and then she told me oh I had this horrible miscarriage at 3 months and we had to bury it. Mind you no one in her family knows a thing about this. I asked her husband and he did not know anything about it either. She likes attention and always has so for now I'm putting it up to that. I hope it didn't not really happen to her because at this point no one believes her. She hadn't  been to the doctor and claims to have buried it in the back yard... Attention seeker that's it. Now she has also started ignoring me and I found out she is back on drugs.. She currently has an almost 2 year old..
