How did you stop producing milk?

My son is 6 months old and I'm ready to Ween him off my breast. How did you go about drying up? I've heard Benadryl, cabbage leaves, peppermint tea, and pumping less and less each day... I just want to save myself from getting Mastitis & pain! Any advice? Thank you in advance! ❤️

I'm in the same boat...I'm trying to get more ideas too but currently pumping only once a day at night and keeping cabbage leaves in my sports bra which is a size smaller on purpose so it's extra tight. Hopefully I won't need to pump anymore soon and my supply will be low enough to let it just finish itself off. Don't wanna get engorged.

Just slowly stop nursing and pumping and give a bottle of formula. You'll feel heavy at first, but that'll stop eventually.

It's a little bit of a rough process but just slowly cut out pumps/feelings. I also used cabbage leaves and ice as needed. Also my dr put me back on my bc which helped also.
