What did you pack in your hospital bag and when?

so I am currently 31+3 and my shower is sunday. my mother has been on me since I was 30 weeks to pack my hospital bag? personally I think it's too early but I guess I could get it started just in case anything happens. so feeling this way I start to look around and I realize I have no idea what I should even bring!? So what did you ladies pack in your bags, what things do you reccomend, and when did you pack it!?

I do know one thing I wish I had with my first is my breastfeeding cover! lol I'll bring mine with me this time! And my own pillow and any extra blanket!

I don't remember when I packed mine exactly, I would start early-ish, not for emergency reasons, but because I kept remembering things to add to it.

The Do's: comfy clothes for before/after, toiletries, phone charger, etc. Change for vending machines. Bring clothes/toiletries for your SO too.

The don'ts: don't bring a bunch of baby clothes, blankets, or diapers. The hospital will give you this stuff. Bring a coming-home outfit, but the first baby clothes will surely get icky so why bring home dirty laundry?

I packed mine when I got home from a false alarm at the hospital at 35 weeks.... I have a duffle bag with some tank tops, a pair of sweats and leggings in it. Then I have the diaper bag backed with 2 receiving blankets, 2 nb outfits, a 0-3 month sleeper, a couple hats, breastfeeding cover, and some trail mix. For now that's it...

I've put stuff aside when I got new things and thought "I'm gonna take this to the hospital" so I didnt have a proper day when I packed my stuff. We've put in like 5 outfits for her (onsies) and of course lots of diapers and pampers. Don't forget the socks because I nearly did. We had some gifts for the ones who came to see her (we made little bags with sweets in it and the day she was born we took pictures and printed them out and put them in) and then there was just typical stuff to clean her up downstairs, just dont forget onsies with long arms and short arms. We also had some little beanies for her so her head wont get cold and gloves because of her nails (but didnt use them at first) 
In my bag I just had a few night growns to stay all comfy and that was even better then sweatpants that I brought with us too because nothing but my panties touched me down there. The first day I gave birth I was nearly the whole day naked just to bound with her and it was a lot more comfy like that. Also we had LOTS of sanitizers for the people who came to visit us. I had a few nursing bras and socks because my feet were always so cold but besides pj's I didnt wear anything anyway.

I think I was 35 or 37 weeks with my 1st and 2nd pregnancies when I packed it and left it in the car...I'm 30 weeks today and right now I'm just getting a list together.
