Belly button

My belly button looks purplish/bluish; anyone else? One provider said I may have a small umbilical hernia but my regular provider said yesterday that I don't because I don't have any protrusion. She kind of brushed it off and said there's nothing we would do about it anyway. Does anyone have any ideas why my belly button looks like a bruise? It's been this way for a few weeks now but today especially is sensitive/sore and the area right above it is as well. I'm currently 34+6.
