I work as a receptionist at a veterinary hospital. I am about 7 weeks along and was wondering what I should avoid. A co-worker said that the leading Doctor was upset about my pregnancy because apparently it means that I can't fill prescriptions, handle the boarding dogs/cats (or their waste), I can't enter Surgery due to the gas released sometimes, I can't enter the Dental area when the xray machine is in use... how much of this is true? I need to do many of these things in order to efficiently complete the tasks that my job demands.
