Hot tub at 10 weeks?

Is it safe to get in a hot tub at any point during pregnancy? I'm 10 weeks and having severe back pain and trying to find some type of relief...

Use a heat compress. Hot tubs are strongly advised against because of the ridiculous amount of bacteria as well as how hot they tend to be. A heat compress is a much safer alternative.

Nooooooo. Not at all!!! Especially not during first trimester.

Take a warm shower, focus the water on your back. Try some yoga poses to stretch and relax that area (child's pose always helped me) or look into finding a certified prenatal massage therapist who can help. :)

You can put your legs in, but that's pretty much it. You can try a warm bath, prenatal yoga and a pregnancy body pillow for your band as alternatives.
