5 days late and BFN

I had my BC removed last month (IUD) where I've always had very consistent periods. So as expected (but not wanted) I was suppose to start 5 days ago and nothing. I took a test this morning and it was a BFN. Is it possible to be pregnant where I still get a BFN or since having my BC removed be the reason why I'm late but will prob be starting soon? I've never had an irregular cycle, even after getting BC placed.
