Birthing ball???

Question

40+2 weeks! Any mommas use a birthing ball/exercise ball to help induce labor??? I heard from many it works. Just not sure if I trust them or not! Lol.

I  bounced on one starting at 37 weeks and I went into labor a week later. Not sure if that's what did it but I plan on doing it again. Also because I was told it helps with an easier labor and helps the muscles and stuff. I loved it.

I only bounced on one once I was in labor, my contractions went from almost 5 minutes apart in about 20 minutes! It definitely sped things up

I bounced and rolled on an excercise ball almost every night during my third trimester and still went 10 days overdue. It did help with back and hip pain.

What I've always been told is that once your body is ready it will help speed up labor cause it naturally helps pull baby down and open you up quicker. I'm not sure how it can help you go into labor if your body isn't ready. I have 3 and just had my husband blow up 2 yesterday so that I can use it to help with back pain and have it ready for once I'm feeling those real contractions. I'm 33+1 weeks
