I refused to give it to my son. They fought with me about it but all the risks are worse than them getting a stomach bug. I know all the signs of dehydration. If my son gets something that concerns me he will go to the doctors or er. I found out later that he can't have it anyway because it's a live oral virus and I have no spleen but the one doctor was basically telling me I was killing my baby for not getting it. I just don't trust it.

My son slept badly the 2 nights after getting it but also got tdap the same day so it couldve been from either or the combo (or coincidence!) - no diarrhea luckily!

Mine had horrible diarrhea. We gave him some probiotics for a week

My son actually ended up badly constipated for about a week after it and was very fussy and hurting! I am not having it given to him at his 4 months app bc it is not one that is mandatory for school and it is treatable with fluids and close contact IF they do get it. Just look up rotovirus vaccine and constipation. There are hundreds of stories from mothers who have had the same problem.
