Is "expired" lube okay to use?

I bought a bottle of durex lube in December last year and it says on the back of the bottle to use within 3 months. My ex and I broke up in February so I haven't used it since January and I want to use it again because it's my turn to have some fun and I don't want to buy a whole new bottle. Is it safe?
