We did when we had our son. He was our first so everything was so new and magical, and it was free so hey, and it was fun. This time around we probably won't bother. If we're going to get a babysitter it's going to be for something much more exciting! Haha!

My husband and I are going in a few weeks to a 7 hour class at the hospital, it includes a tour of the faculties and lunch! Only $65 bucks for us. First baby, so super excited and want to be completely prepared. :D

With my first I did...and it was a complete waste of time. I had already read everything they taught.

I spent $350 on my class. (Sale price to help fill up the class last minute) the cheaper ones where I live are $150. The only free ones you get are if you are part of low income support which we don't qualify for. 
I'm really glad we did go. It helped my husband realize that automatically thinking I should be getting a c-section like his mom was not the only way to go. After the first class he actually was all over home birth with a midwife (my original choice). I liked our class as she informed us of a ton of reasons you would or would not chose certain things before, during and after birth. We felt like if I had something go in a direction that we did not want it to go we could navigate it better since we had the information. 
With this pregnancy I'm not going to do a class as I already have learned a lot from my last class and I was only 2 years ago.

Ours was free at the hospital we are delivering at and all the information really puts you at ease but this is my first also

I did, although halfway through I found out I was going to be required to have a c section. We finished the class out anyway. I consider myself an educated, informed person, but I still learned stuff. I think it's good just to know what to expect. Also, it helped my husband a lot! It was worth it just to go for him.

I couldn't go to the 6 week birthing class that my OB offers, because I have extreme social anxiety and my Husband was on a Stateside Deployment. But now that he's home, we will be attending a 4 hour class in two weeks.
