Contractions 18 weeks??!

Is this normal? Second pregnancy so I know what they feel like, terrified of preterm labour and all those scary things... Anyone else?

Braxton hicks at this point are fine. Normally a sign that you need to drink more. Real contractions at this point you definitely need to call.

Definitely call your doctor. Hopefully they are just Braxton hicks. And stay hydrated, I was having contractions during an ultrasound at 18 weeks and my doctor said I needed to drink more fluids. Lack of fluids can cause contractions is what she said to me.

How long are they and how far apart??

BH contractions started earlier for me with my second baby as well. Make sure you're drinking enough and if they become regular or painful go get checked out.

I think I drink enough? Maybe it's all the soda from work, not enough beneficial fluids. But I'm praying it's just Braxton Hicks..
