Diagnosed with PCOS today

Hello,

I'm 27, I've been married for 6 years and TTC for 3 years. My husband is in the military , so all of my health care and treatment is through the military. For the last 2 years I have been receiving for infertility treatment , having tests done trying to determine why we're not getting pregnant , and being prescribed fertility drugs like Clomid.

I've been taking Clomid since December of 2015 with no luck. My husband and I moved to South Korea in April and I continued on with my prescription I received in America (Clomid). However, it is not for long term use so after 6 months I stop taking it.

My military doctor who is only a PA referred me to a korean IVF specialist. I was so excited because I thought we were actually going to get IVF and our insurance is going to cover it ( our dreams of being parents was actually going to come true) . I went to my appointment today, and had a long talk with the semi English-speaking nurse and discovered that Tricare (military insurance) wasn't going to pay for hardly anything ...which is not surprising. However the IVF specialist Dr. completed a vaginal ultrasound and within 5 minutes I told me I had PCOS.

How is it years and years of treatment and attempted diagnosis in America with the military doctors and nothing but unexplained fertility! But 5 minutes with a Korean specialist and I have PCOS. And it's true I saw the picture of my ovaries and they're full of cysts. GOSH it was so frustrating feeling like I've wasted the last two years.

Now knowing why my husband and I haven't been able to get pregnant, it's slightly a relief. Nobody takes you seriously when you say you have unexplained fertility for years and years. I've been doing a lot of research and it seems like we still have a very long road ahead of us to get pregnant.

Does anybody have any tips for me to get pregnant? I'm not really overweight but I do eat healthy and exercise regularly. From what I read that seems to be a huge part of it. Any specific drugs that worked for you or does it seem like IVF is normally the best attempt?

Thank you for your time!!
