Help me choose my stone shape!

I'll probably be engaged within 2 years, but I'm already compiling a list of potential rings for my man to easily choose mine 😎 I have short, stubby-looking size 7 fingers, and I was really dreaming of a princess or cushion cut stone, but from what I understand, oval cut would lengthen my fingers. What do you ladies think? Post pictures of your rings (not just engagement or promise rings, but anything with a center stone!)!
