Home birth

Is anyone here planning a home birth with certified nurse midwives? I originally looked at hospital birth and the doctors went on to tell me that they dont want me doing natural birth because i am 30lbs overweight and would prefer to have me have a c-section! I told them i will take my business elsewhere, because i am perfectly healthy (great blood pressure, healthy blood sugar levels, hydrated, excersize and eat healthy). I called the local free standing birth center and I am meeting with them tomorrow and they said many of their clients come from the same pre natal background where doctors wanted them to take unnecessary medical procedures. WTF! pregnancy is not a medical condition. I opted for a natural water birth.
