First midwife appt

So I have my first midwife appt on 24/8 so far away 😩 however I had MC in 2014 and would like to request an early scan at the end of Aug when I should hopefully be about 8 weeks for reassurance and to make sure everything is ok so far. Has anybody else done this or have they refused you??
