I gave in at 2 weeks. I really didn't want him to have one but he wanted to suckle for comfort 24/7 and it was driving me crazy!

It depends on the baby... I had 3 that didn't take it at all, 2 that were super attached and 1 that would take it sometimes and sometimes wouldn't. As long as they're latching correctly, I give it to them. But it's GONE before they turn a year old so we don't have orthodontia problems lol! (Yes, I have 6 kids and I'm pregnant again...)

I tried at 4 weeks but he would pull it out his mouth, spit it out. He didn't like but when he was 2 months he literally wanted to suck for comfort on my boob and after awhile it was just to much. So I gave him a binky that's like the nipple he's 3 months now he shows signs of teething his dr said and I see it so he likes it cause it soothes him. I did the same with my first 2 boys they only wanted the binky when they were teething once the tooth came in they would not take the binky lol

I tried around 2-3 weeks (I think) and he refused. He also refused the bottle.
