Thrush

I've had a dry mouth for awhile and have noticed that in the back of my tongue there are some white spots and have been having a hard time swallowing. I've had a vaginal yeast infection, but it's starting to clear up (I've used some external creams). So will salt water help get rid of thrush in my mouth or what?? I'm also taking vitamins (I think my immune system is weak)
