Unpaid Maternity leave sucks
So I'm currently on a unpaid maternity leave for 2 months. I have no income at all to help my husband provide for our family. I applied for unemployment and they denied me stating I can't accept full time work of its offered to me because I just had a baby. I want disability but I guess I'm supposed to have a letter from my doctor first. I'm new to my state and things are done different here. In UK they get a year maternity leave paid. This is America and I get nothing, total bull!!!
Sorry I'm venting... I am a college graduate and can't find a decent paying job here in Massachusetts. I have my Masters degree in Business. If anybody knows of good companies that are hiring( which I probably already applied for) and can possibly help me get a job that would be awesome and a total blessing. Then maybe next time I get pregnant I will have maternity leave that's paid. Just really irritated!
