How many moms still put babes to sleep on their bellies?

How many mothers still put their babies to sleep on their stomachs ? Just curious I was reading on it because my lo won't sleep anyway but on his stomach on my chest and found some moms still do and it's not even proven it causes SIDS ... So I don't know what to think or do, he's almost 8wks and if I put him on his side or back it's war for hours me trying to gt him to sleep but , as soon as he's on his belly even just beside me with my eyes on him 24/7 he will sleep for hours ..

I let her nap on my chest, or nap for a little bit if she falls asleep during tummy time..but only if I'm in the room. She tends to smash her face in the blankets when she's awake. But I always have her sleep on her back at night

I dont because my lo doesn't like it but I do break other SIDS rules. He likes to nap on his side and we bed share.  He sleeps right next to me at night. When he was first born he slept on my chest. I think mother's instincts are strong.  We know our babies and we need sleep too!

Baby #2, tummy sleepers. I let them do it during nap time so I can watch them for about a week, usually around 4-5 weeks old. I like to see what happens when they squirm and end up face down to make sure they'll turn their heads.

My bub is the same.. he will sleep for hours at night laying on my chest (on his belly). I start him off in his bassinet but usually after his night feed he will end up in bed with me as he will not resettle (I think reflux might be a factor). Even during the day this is the only way he will sleep.. will NOT let me put him down anywhere.. 😩 He is 5 weeks..
