Am i having contractions?!

Im 39 weeks 1 day and every couple minutes  i get a lot of pressure and little bit of a cramp. I think she moves when it happens and idk if shes hitting a nerve down by my pelvis or if it is a contraction. I also keep feeling like i have to pee or have gas. Ftm in need of help!! Please help me ladies

Personally they felt like period cramps to me. I have an incredibly high pain tolerance, and they didn't really hurt, but every once in awhile they would take my breath away, or I couldn't speak or walk through them. They also didn't go away. I tried laying down on my left side, walking around, drinking water... They stayed fairly consistent no matter what I did.

Mine radiated. Time how far apart they are. I felt like I had to poop like nobody's business when I was in labor but they told me it wasn't poop lol.

It starts out like a dull period cramp...
 Can send pain shooting down your thighs and back.

You'll know.  Trust me.

Then they get so bad they take your breath away.

The rest is down hill......

With my first I kept feeling like I had to go to the bathroom and that was the beginning of my labor. Within a few hours the contractions really got going. Good luck!!
