How often does your baby move?

I feel like she isn't moving as much as I think she should be. I am 31 weeks 4 days. I do have an anterior placenta but does that still mean you feel them less in the third trimester? I can count 10 kicks in one hour but that might be only one hour out of the day. Anyone else having this as well?

My doctor said 10 kicks every 2 hours. If your not feeling the baby move then eat something, drink cold water, and lay on your left side. No phone, TV or distractions. And if you still don't feel her move then call your doctor.

My what to expect app said there's less room for baby to move so I may feel less movement. I hope this helps

Placenta placement can cause less feeling but as long at you feel them move a couple of times a day baby is probably fine. Some days my baby moves what feels like all day, others I only feel him at night before bed. They have lazy days just like us. Drink cold water and sit/lay down and baby should move around. Sometimes I even give my belly a poke, and we play tag.

It could be the way she is positioned or you could be busy and not notice it as often. 
Ever since I've hit 29 weeks I've felt him move constantly but if you're concerned just set up a doctors appointment. 
Oh! Do you have a Doppler? We borrowed on from my sister in law and I have found it comforting to check his heart beat if I'm every worried about something.

I have an anterior placenta and my baby only moves when I'm going to sleep other than that I never feel her! 31 weeks
