Milwaukee, BLM riots.. why isn't anyone talking about this?

Question

So after a fatal police shooting of a 23 year old black man, the black people of Milwaukee are rioting, robbing places, setting buildings and cars on fire. Why is nobody talking about this?! 
They are claiming the BLM movement.. I've read articles now about them stopping cars in the street.. dragging white people out of them and beating the sh-- out of them. I mean why is this not being talked about?! 
I haven't been on glow the past two days maybe... but every other time something has gone down its a huge debate on here.
Am I the only one who is seeing something wrong here? This is not protesting anymore, these people are running around yelling BLM and Black Power.... when will this end? How many people are going to die or be injured? How many buildings, business  are going to be destroyed. And for what to prove a point? 
This is beyond disturbing and violent.

I live in Milwaukee and it's all we're talking about here but I haven't seen much anywhere else. They're tearing apart their own neighborhoods and ruining businesses and livelihoods of their neighbors. This is not the way to get justice. Also the man who was shot was holding a semi automatic handgun, resisting arrest, and refused to drop the weapon. The night before there had been 5 murders in that neighborhood alone. Every cop in the area was on edge. When faced with that semi automatic with 23 rounds loaded it was either shoot or be shot. It was who was going to be quicker and have a better aim. Obviously the cop who was also black and only a year older than him won in the end. Obviously it's a tragedy when there is any loss of life but this cop didn't have much of a choice in this particular instance. Even the guys father is calling to parents to set a better example because he feels responsible for his kid running around the way he was. The way the people of Milwaukee are portraying BLM sets the actual movement back so far. If they wanted justice they would do something peaceful yet powerful. MLK is rolling over in his grave. This is not what he saw for the world. And it's so sad to see my city being torn apart.

Im guessing it will end when Black People stop getting murdered by government officials and are treated equally to the white majority. Thats what im guessing.

It's made my local news coverage. I watched it just a couple hours ago, but there was no mention of a BLM connection. What I heard was that a crowd who witnessed the shooting wouldn't disperse then grew. I also havent heard a thing about people being dragged from cars and doubt it's true. Can we all agree that fear mongering isn't a great way to go?

It's some straight BS that most of the comments left by black women are being voted down. I feel like the OP is trying to start something. So sick of people trying to blame these kinds of acts on the BLM movement when time and time again these types of acts have been condemned by those who support the movement. Furthermore, you all (white women) well some of you all (don't want anyone getting butt hurt 😒) need to do more research on MLK and stop with this water down ass version you all like to bring up.

I think some black people are just angry. They're at the point where they feel entitled (not all black people. The select few that feel the need to riot for stupid things). They don't even care anymore about the situation and want to make people pay that don't deserve it. Hey, let's all go destroy everything simply because we're mad and want to make ourselves look bad.

It's about black people being angry and finding new reasons to be allowed to have that feeling. I've never seen a man that does his job and has a nice family out there fighting. Why? Because they don't feel threatened. 
Where I live they gave many black people free housing, their own mall, and jobs. Way happened within the first week? The homes were ripped apart. We paid millions to have this happen. Yet, they want to say we treat them differently. It this stupid riot keeps up, I will begin treating them differently. These people should be in jail.

If you want to protest then do it another way. You're costing people money. You're forcing us into a damn war that our children will have to go through. It truly sickens me. It's terrifying that a young child only sees death and riots on the news.

Here's the thing, I'm not going to try to give support to either "side" of the whole BLM thing and the issues Around all of the race war crap that's going on in this country. What I will say is this: it's ridiculous To riot over anything. It's ridiculous To treat anybody, cops, civilians, whoever, with violence. If anybody has a problem with the way that civilians live their lives, act like an adult about it and DONT RIOT. If anybody has a problem with the way cops do their jobs, act like an adult about it and DONT RIOT. There are bad cops out there doing bad things to both good and bad people, and there are bad people out there doing bad things that merit action from the cops. Everybody needs to just calm down and stop jumping to the race war conclusion every time something bad happens. And if an incident is proven to actually be about race, then everyone needs to calm down and NOT RIOT. Rioting and fighting will not solve anything, and neither will fighting with each other or spreading hate. All of this makes me sad for our country that we've stooped so low as to conduct ourselves this way. Geez.
