Giving phone number to people on Tinder?

What are your thoughts on giving your phone number to people you've met on Tinder? I personally feel very hesitant to give out that information but I know friends who will give it to anybody. What do you do when somebody asks for your number on a social media site?

Well I don't think Tinder was even invented when I found my boyfriend (wow that sounds old). When was chatting on the internet with someone and he asked for my number after barely talking I ended the conversation.

I know things are different now, I know people give their number out right and left and it has gotten slightly easier to block numbers...

Go with your gut feeling and use a lot of common sense. If it doesn't feel right, don't do it. And don't give out your information and if you meet do it in a public place.

I don't mind it but  it depends on the guy. I definitely wouldn't give it out right away. I personally like to ask for their Instagram, Snapchat, and if I'm still interested/know they're a real person only THEN will I give them my number. If you have any doubt or hesitation in your mind about giving him your number, don't do it. Go with your gut
