Jacksonville Florida Moms Know any Doctors that support natural childbirth???

Question

I'm only 7 weeks and trying to find good prenatal care, but also an ob or midwife that will support my decision to give birth drug free. Jax is supposed to be one of the worse for medical professionals pushing interventions so has anyone had a good experience? Anyone you can recommend? I'm on the westside of Jax.

I have never personally had an experience with them, but Shands Birth Center was recommended to me from a friend.

Midwives are supposed to encourage an unmedicated birth! 
If you chose to have a medicated birth they obviously support you, but they encourage unmedicated.

I'm not sure if it's like that everywhere though. 
Make an appt with a midwife, they should give you a bunch of papers, one of them will explain midwifery and that's where I saw their goal is to make labour and delivery as easy as possible without meds.

When I first found out that I was pregnant, I was living in JAX. Not sure what side this doctor is on but I went to Dr. Daniel McDyer. If you google, "Jacksonville, Florida OB/GYN" , you'll see him in the list that pops up. 
I'm not sure if you prefer a male or female, but Dr. McDyer was great. For a FTM, he made me feel comfortable every visit and explained everything to my understanding. 
Would definitely recommend!
