Gestational diabetes

Hi has anyone got gestational diabetes? I have failed the gtt and am now doing 4 blood spot tests a day....I've not changed my diet as I want to see if my levels are due to diet. I am overweight I have a bmi of 32...my morning levels are ranging around 5.1 and after meals are between 5 and 6.8. I haven't met the diabetic consult yet and I don't know what to expect. Will I need medication?? Will I be induced early? I've 4 children and they've all been 10lb but never tested postie with gestational diabetes. Any advice would be much appreciated. 🙁
