moving in together

I've been dating my boyfriend for a little over 6 months and we spend every second we have with each other, I'm 20 and he's 21. I'm living with my mum at the moment after moving back home where I was living in my own place and its hell not having My independence. My boyfriends mum has offered for me to live with them so I save money cause my mum is charging me half the rent and everything else and I'm constantly arguing with my mum and today he asked if I wanted to move in with him because it would be a lot easier for us (we live 30 mins from each other) and he liked the thought of coming home to me every day after work. after I told him I talked to mum about it he did a 180 and said that if I needed to then that was fine like its no rush cause we are still new in the relationship. Why do guys give us ideas them make us fight for them. 😂 how do I approach this?
