my birth story .

i was in prodromal labor since 36 weeks . on august 14th , making me 39+4 , i woke up in god aweful pain and having contractions 20 minutes apart . so i woke up , cleaned my house , all that . started timing my contractions again and they went from 6 to 8 minutes . i called my midwife and let her know and she told me to go into the hospital when they got 3 to 4 minutes apart . so my fiancé and i went for a little walk and when i started timing them , they were 2 to 3 minutes . . so we went in . i was 5 cm and 80% thinned . they told me if i didnt make any cervical change , they were sending me home . i was 5cm and what not for 3 days prior . they checked me 2 hours later and i was 6 cm so we got admitted . i was so excited and so nervous . we were aiming for an all natural water birth so they got me in the tub . i started really not feeling right so i got out and they said i was 8 cm . i kept throwing up so i got an epidural . baby was fine , everything was going good . then it was time to push . i was pushing then all of a sudden all these people started running in demanding i push as hard as i can . then they told me they had to get me to OR asap because baby wasnt breathing . the cord was wrapped so bad when i would push he would come out but the cord pulled him back . they had him cut out in 5 minutes . when i heard him cry , i almost passed out . hes had 0 NICU time and is perfectly healthy . only issue was with me and my heart beat is high but my test and EKG came back normal . so im assuming its from surgery , stress , ect . im so blessed to have my son here .
