Feeling Very Proud
I've been feeling very proud of myself lately.
I've been extremely unhealthy the passed few years of my life. My grandmother passed away in January 2014, started college in August of that year, and in September of 2015 I was diagnosed with PCOS. I gained about 70 lbs in just a year in a half. I've tried losing weight the fast way by starving, going on water fasts, taking supplements to make me use the bathroom as often as I can. But regardless of the number on the scale decreasing, I still wasn't happy.
Mid-summer of this year, I've decided to just make a change. I was tired of feeling ugly on the outside, but also on the inside. I needed to make myself feel better. I wanted to be able to visit family without being judged. Or feeling uncomfortable with my friends because I can't borrow their clothes. I have now been lifting weights twice a week with my trainer, ride my bike almost every other day of the week, and eating a very balanced diet. And I'm proud to say that I've lost 16 lbs in six weeks. No this isn't a lot, I plan to lose 110 in total. But it's a starting point and I'm on such of a huge roll, nothing in the world can stop me.
