Hi! So, I will be getting the mirena in a few days but I have a couple last minute questions for any ladies who have gone through the procedure before 😅 first is, do I take the softening pill as soon as I get my period or 3 hours before the procedure? I could've sworn my doctor said to insert it right away but the directions say otherwise. My second question is, how long does the bleeding last? I'm starting college next month so I want to be prepared for any surprises. Thank you so much in advance 🙏🏻
