(Hopefully this makes sense) I felt something "fill up" with liquid inside my vagina and I felt it come out while my SO was thrusting fast and deep. You probably just nutted. I don't know if there is any logic behind this but I have nutted but not orgasmed and I have orgasmed without the nut. 
I think squirting is literally when you "squirt". 
For example, I have had a literal "waterfall" of water when I was getting fucked from behind one day but I didn't orgasm. I orgasm when I'm on top a lot but no waterworks.
