Cramps during sex

I am a little less than a week away from my missed period. I called my OB because I've been feeling "swollen" and have had pain during and after sex. She told me not to worry and that this was an early pregnancy sign. Never heard that before, have any of you ladies experienced this around 4-5 weeks pregnant?
