How common is it for doctors to do an ultrasound at your first 8 week appt?

I have my first appointment on the 29th and am curious if they will do an ultrasound or not??

I had a transvaginal ultrasound at my first appointment. I was 9+4.

I only got one at 13 weeks with the first trimester screen and the anatomy scan. Both I had to request.

I had one for both of my pregnancies at 8 weeks! Heard/saw the heartbeat!

From what I've been told is you only get one before 12 weeks if you're not sure when you conceived or if you're high risk.

I was exact 5 weeks and Doctor did my vaginal ultrasound and confirm the pregnancy once again and made sure it is not ecoptic as well as if it's a single or twin . My next was week 9 exact.  Then at week 13. So he checks me every 4 weeks .and ultrasound are blessings. I wait so much to go for an ultrasound !!!
