Preterm labor concerns or no?

I'm 32 weeks & 5 days. I'm dialated 1cm with a soft cervix and lost my plug yesterday. I have really bad achy cramping pains very often. I get contractions as well but not regularly. I have severe lower back pain and feet/ankle/hand swelling. Also nausea and I haven't been nauseated since 4 months. Do you think I should be concerned about preterm labor?

Never hurts to just call. If you feel somethings off its always better to be safe. If you are progressing...then they can catch it early and they can stop it....baby needs to bake just a little longer

At almost 33 weeks you should definitely go in for monitoring to keep an eye on those Braxton hicks, because they may want to take precautions such as procardia to stop contractions or steroids to speed up Baby's lung development just in case you did go into labor. Also, they may check to see if contractions are causing further dilation. Good luck ♡

Yup I would be concerned. I had terrible back pain and lost my plug at 29 weeks. Dr told me to come in and sure enough I was in labor and had my son 4 hours later. I suggest calling your dr.

Keep and eye on it for sure, especially the cramps/contractions/back pain. A call to your dr would probably be a good idea just in case they want you to be checked. At 35 weeks I had a night with bad lower back pain, cramping near my pubic bone and I lost my plug. I woke up the next day and it all went away but my dr wanted me to call. I was checked a few days later but my cervix was closed and hard. Haven't dealt with it since.

I went to L&D. They said my contractions started but not regular. I'm now dilated 2 cm and they prescribed some kinda blood pressure med to stop my contractions called Nifedipine 10 mg. I took one at the hospital but my contractions did not stop. Thanks for the advice everyone. I think it's best I went in. They confirmed I lost my mucus plug(I showed them the pic)! I'm now 33 weeks. How many  cm do I have to be dilated to be considered in active labor? Does anyone know?
