Husband Rant

Miranda
Background: I have pcos but mine is the lean variety so my everyday life isn't affected as much as many who have it. Mostly I have fertility issues, irregular periods, and skin/hair problems. I don't take birth control right now.
So today I'm telling my husband about my wacky period (spotting for the last two weeks in place of a regular period), and he says I should see my doctor. I told him she was likely just going to recommend birth control to regulate my cycle because it was pcos related. He then began to argue with me about how I'm not a doctor and I don't know what she'll say. However, he thinks it could be something else because "pcos wouldn't cause a period that long."
So the woman who has pcos, has likely had it since puberty, has had cycles since 14 (now 26), and has read an enormous amount of material on the condition both scientific and anecdotal doesn't have a clue what is going on with her body but he does??!!
Am I being crazy or is that just super ridiculous?
