Drop in movement?

I'm sitting here in labor and delivery, waiting to be hooked up for a NST, and I'm sure everything is fine, but I'm just wondering if any of you have ever heard of anyone going in because of the baby not moving as much and they actually found something wrong? I know they're probably going to tell me everything is fine. Just wondering if any of you have any stories or have thought, "I'm so glad I went in" . . . Rather than thinking, "yep! I'm just paranoid!" . . . I'm 34 w, 3D.
