confused/curious

So I see many girls on here mentioning that they are on birth control and also let their boyfriend finish inside them. I have always been on birth control and still used a pull out method. Even so, i still have pregnancy scares even though he pulls out like 3 minutes before hand and then finishes himself off. Its less likely to get pregnant this way with birth control, and pull out method?
