Bc and ovulating

I have taken a full week of my bc. This is the first time I've ever taken any kind of birth control. I'm just curious if I will still ovulate? Glow says my fertile window starts today and I'm getting kind of crampy like normal when I ovulate but I'm not sure if I still ovulate when on bc.
