Worried about people taking over!

I'm worried that when my little boy is born people won't respect our wishes and try and take over and try and help to much I've always been very independent and I just want it to me my partner myself and our son. 

I HATE when people just come and take your child off you and say "come for a cuddle" it's like no please ask if you can hold them (so I can think of an excuse to say no) hahah I dunno I just feel so attached and I know my mother and my mother in law are over powering and I hate it so much! I don't want anyone really seeing us for the first 6-8 weeks to give us time to learn to be parents and adjust to our new family without people stressing me out!
